vandyAnnie came up yesterday and we spent 4 hours wandering around the mall spending too much money (at least I did - reason why I don't hang out at the mall). I got a really cute shirt. Then we went to the gym. I couldn't find one of my guest passes and they made Annie pay $15 to go swimming with me. Then Hank canceled our membership, something we'd been planning on doing anyway, but very satisfying timing. After swimming Annie showed me some yoga positions and we went home and played computer games. Pretty fun. I forget how much I miss having Annie to go hang out with. I definitely needed some nice girly time with my best friend.
Today I went to discuss my armor which I am ordering through Guy and Ulf. I have pretty much decided on a Wisby style coat of plate. I am thinking about a round-topped helm simply because I disliked having a nice point as a target when I had a pointy helm. I really want something with good visibility since I will also be using my armor for fighting light now that heavy lights are it in An Tir.
Back on the subject of the gym, it looks like we will be joining the rock climbing gym of expensiveness after all, since I have been having a blast rock climbing, and it is pretty nice and posh so appeals to Hanks sense of yuppieness.
