Happy b-day to me!

Yesterday I went climbing, all of two route before my knee went kaput. But at least I got some climbing in. Then I spent most of the day de-constructing Hanksan's old laptop (my laptops twin) with my dad, who managed to find the repair manual on-line. Both my laptop and hanksan's old laptop have problems with the power jack, so we are going to replace the one in Hanksan's laptop first, since his won't start at this point. When we got down to the level of the main board, yes indeed, there was a hole where one of the solder joints should be, with a circle of toasty looking varnish around it. Looks like it is fixable, so we have 2 power jacks on order. I am thinking about giving my laptop a face-lift while I have it stripped down. I need to look into paint types... Maybe I should replace the touch pad also, since the paint is work off of the center of it, or maybe I can re-paint it.

Now for my grand b-day plans: go to tea! I am going to go to a tea shoppe that is new-to-me in Sherwood with Z, and mom and dad. It should be fun. Then go hang out with anniekins and matt. Tomorrow, fabric shopping! Woot! Then on Sunday Hansan says he will actually go climbing with me. I have my knee appointment on Tuesday. I want to climb enough to make my knee sore so that my symptoms are obvious for my appointment. Which won't take a lot, but will still be fun.
