Nair the Dog!
Apr. 3rd, 2007 01:57 pmThose of you who know me well, know that I am not much for shaving my legs. I am notoriously bad at getting around to shaving my legs since I am lazy and always forget or don't feel like it and end up with icky stubble, so usually I just don't bother. Now that I am taping my knees, however, I have some really good motivation to take care of that hair that the tape sticks to oh so well. So I decided to try that new spray-on Nair and see if it was any good. You spray the foam on your legs and leave it for at least 4 minutes before showering off. Today I got ready to shower, sprayed my legs, and in comes Rasputin. I frantically tried to keep my legs out of her way in a strange psudo-dance of avoidance, which she of course thought was a game. She was playing, circling around me, jumping around, and of course she managed to rub her whole side over my leg. MEEP! So then I had itchy Nair legs, Nair dog, and was also worried about her tracking it all over the house. And so she decided that she wanted to play keep away. I ended up running all over the house, naked with itchy legs, crouched over so that the neighbors couldn't see me, trying to catch Rasputin and wipe the foam of, with little blobs of foam falling off my legs as I went. I grabbed a shirt, but then in the struggle manged to Nair that as well. Long story short, I did eventually lure her back to the bathroom with bacon flavored snax, where I wiped her down with a sponge, then managed to go back through the house and cleanup our path of destruction, and rinsed out the shirt. And after all that, the darned stuff didn't work all that well anyway! So my vote is thumbs down for spray-on Nair. ;-)
