Very Impressive
Nov. 30th, 2007 06:02 pmOur cat, Pip, has once again shown his fine appreciation of the bakers' art. Last night he managed to mutilate an entire package of butter-flake rolls. Not only did he completely rip up the package, he got fang marks into every single roll. And of course he didn't finish even half of a single roll.
He hasn't done this in quite a while - it is reminiscent of the days just after Hank first got him when I caught him hauling my loaf of sourdough bread across Hank's apartment's floor in the middle of the night. Apparently I haven't been giving him enough treats. More recently he has limited his hunting excursions to snagging BBQ chicken and steak off of mystery neighbors' grills during the summer (we know about this because we have found several half chewed chicken breasts and steaks on the back deck on days when we ate neither). Perhaps I had better look into getting or making a bread box.
