Check Out Our Ingot Mold!

Yup, that is an antique cast iron corn stick pan. :-) Nothin' like golden, um, I mean bronze corn. A great way to clean the grease and dust out too!

Doesn't the grease create molten schrapnel when the molten bronze hits it?
I have a great story about steam press molds we did in college I will tell you sometime.

No, it just fired up a little. The molds didn't really trap the grease, so no boom. Better yet, you can go watch our last pour since I stuck a video up on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvdH3UMlOBc OTOH my SCA brother had a very traumatic experience with pewter and water once...
