My kitty, then a little something from Orycon

I took Pip in to the vet yesterday because he is having problems with his bad eye again. They once again recommended that it be removed, since he has been completely blind in that eye for years and it has frequent problems. It is completely clouded over with cataracts and the lens is actually detached and resting on the bottom of the eye, so it might even be a cosmetic improvement as well as improving his health. I decided to have it done, so am now waiting around to hear the results. The surgery should happen around one, so please think good thoughts for my kitty. Ironically, the billboard in front of the vet currently reads," Give your pet a new look for the holidays!" Heh. I will soon have a pirate kitty - Arrrgh!

Pip's surgery went well, but I won't see him until tomorrow since they wanted to keep him overnight. But it sounds like he is good, thanks!
