But here is my big hope spiked by today's innauguration. My hope is that people will remain inspired. This election has engaged many people in the political reality of today, and it is incredibly exciting to see so many people hopeful and excited about change. Remember that change isn't just in our leadership, it is in you and your involvement in the world. We may have many hopes for the new administration, but our leaders can't do it all. Our country is nothing without the people in it. The same goes for the other countries of the world. Whether you were for or against Mr. Obama, just remember that you can still make a difference, and that every little act can add up to great change for good or ill. Lets all be inspired by the energy of today and try to make the world a better place, as trite as that might sound. For me personally this means safe-gaurding our rights, making sure we still have a planet and economy to live with, and being friendly with our neighbors when possible, among other things. Lots of little choices every day can contribute to this, so start small if you need to. But try to live what you believe. Thats all... K thnx. :-)

I think this sort of grassroots ideology, fostered by education and community ideals, is exactly the kind of basic change that is going to make a difference for our country in the long run.
We are signing up this weekend!
