The Breast Problem
Apr. 13th, 2004 08:47 pmSo, because *everyone* wants to hear about my breasts because they, along with Annie's breasts, are discussed at most successful parties, here is what is happening with The Breast Problem (ignore if you don't want more info).
I am having a biopsy on my right breast on Friday because I probably have a minuscule benign tumor in one of the ducts. Bleh, makes me sounds like an air conditioner. :P They will put me under mild anesthesia and a local anesthetic, hopefully remove both the offending tumor nd the duct it is in (apparently there are between 8 and 20 ducts in a woman's breast so this is No Big Deal and will not in any way affect the way it would function should I ever want it to do anything other than sit on my chest and look breast-like) and I will be home that night. I will have pain killers, but it probably won't be "that bad" even though someone will be slicing into my breast (cringe).
