Apr. 17th, 2004 11:11 amWell, the surgery went pretty well. I am home on Vicaden, feeling pretty woozy - a little sore but not too bad. I get to shower tomorrow and should be able to have life completely back to normal within a week. The surgery was actually kind of neat. They put my under anesthesia just light enough to be "twilight sleep" so basically I was actually aware, but couldn't move very much, and I could feel what they were doing but it didn't hurt. Well, it was a little painful two times and I just told them and they gave me a little more local anesthetic. I was a little frustrated because I was really curious and wanted to see what they were doing but couldn't. The worst parts of the whole experience was waiting around and putting the IV in. It didn't even hurt until around 4am when I woke up and had to take my vicadin to get back to sleep. They took out one duct and part of another one, and are having them analyzed but they are probably completely benign, and now they are gone so shouldn't cause me any more issues.
