And is apparently still snowing up near Annie's apartment. This is a first in my memory. Weird. Of course it is always snowing *somewhere* on my birthday, but in Portland???

Well, it is apparently snowing in Portland again, and depending on who I talk to it may or may not be icky tonight, so I am officially re-scheduling my birthday. I don't have to be 26 until next week. Go me. I don't want to get stuck in Portland or make people drive through annoying traffic to pick me up, or have Annie drive through ickyness to get back home or to work. So I will make it into a project day. Maybe I will actually work on some garb or possibly on The Endless Embroidery which I have started stitching away at again.

Since I was so conveniently home all day, I finally typed up an annotated list of all of my glass books. OMG, including the volumes of Corning Glass Journals I have 39 books on glass history. That is assuming that I didn't miss any, and doesn't count books on the actual blowing of glass or the books I just ordered as birthday presents to myself from Whitehouse books. For anyone who has never been there and is a glass geek like me, I highly recommend visiting Whitehouse Books http://www.whitehouse-books.com/ It is a seriously dangerous place where I love to spend way too much money. Side note, must get off my but and go to Tacoma Glass Museum. Anyone been there? What do you think about it?
