My snowed out birthday

So despite having to postpone my plans for actually hanging out with my best friend, I managed to have a pretty good birthday last night. I spent a lot of time helping hanksan track down possible A&S sites which made me feel useful - something that is always good. I got that glass book inventory done. I worked a bit on the endless embroidery. I went out tea with my mother, I went out to dinner with hanksan and we stumbled around the parking lot trying to drunkenly catch the *huge* snowflakes on our tongues (and often succeeding). It was generally pretty entertaining. And I am having a small last-minute birthday party on Saturday evening at my place in Newberg at 6pm should anyone be interested. I am considering making tea sandwiches for it. I like them and they are not as fattening (generally) as pizza. Mmmmm cucumber sandwiches - always make me think of the importance of being ernest.
