And Yet More House Doom

Mom picked up the forms from the county regarding house replacement and brought them over last night along with some muscle relaxants for my back which is killing me (probabaly all that bending over doing the floor this weekend since I was doing the measuring side of things while Hank cut stuff up). The good thing is that the form doesn't say anything about the house being in livable condition. The bad part is that they do want pictures of the electrical box, bathing facilities, toilet, kitchen, a light, an outlet, and the outsides of the house. I went over to look at it today, and we basically do need to re-build it. The bathtub is now on the ground rather than in the floor. And dad actually managed to step through a section of flooring right after I warned him to be carefull. Luckily he is fine, even if the floor isn't. Sigh. So it looks like we are in for a messy ugly job. We should probabaly do whatever is cheapest and fastest so the house looks all right and we can start getting permits for the new house, and then while we are waiting for permits we can do any additional work that is needed on the place so we can move in and stay there while building the new house.  At any rate, it was a thoroughly depressing day. :-P And my back still really hurts. :-P :-P
