historicworkshop.com is OPEN!!!!
Jul. 9th, 2007 10:12 pmYup, we are officially now open for business, so come visit the Historic Workshop!
We are currently carrying iron work by my father, Morgan de Comyn/ Morgan Hall, jewelry by my father and myself, hand bound books and brass knitting needles made by me, gothic style benches by Edwardus Honestus / Ed FItzgerld, beads by Stacy DeLoe / Rafny Garrinsdaughter, and coins by Greg Franck-Weiby / Ian Cnulle, among other items.
We will be updating products frequently in the next few weeks since a bunch of items weren't quite ready in time for our opening date. Items on the "soon" list include slate style sewing frames, brass sewing needles, leather juggling balls, wooden juggling clubs, more jewelry items including some budget pewter versions of current designs, and more. We will hopefully be adding blown glass items in the next several months.
In addition to getting the web store open, we completely remodeled my parent's front room last week and turned it into the Historic Workshop LLC office and workroom. We are still organizing and reorganizing, but it is awesome! Now we are just looking forward to finishing our house (which was temporarily put on hold because of the whole business thing) so we can walk next door to work.
Please pass on information about our store to anyone who you think might be interested! More free advertising = a happy elfa!
I am editing this to add that suggestions for improvement and editing are welcome! We are all so sick of looking at the website that we can't even tell what is written there anymore... ;-) So we will not be icky about helpful suggestions - we welcome your feedback!
